JA Asia Pacific Company of the Year Competition (COYC)

JA Asia Pacific celebrates the achievements of the JA Company Program at the regional level annually with this event. The annual regional JA COYC in each of the six regions in the world channels winners to a global level competition, the De La Vega Global Entrepreneurship Award that recognizes outstanding JA entrepreneurs.

International Trade Challenge (ITC) Asia Pacific Finals

The FedEx Express / JA International Trade Challenge (ITC) is a competition organized by JA Asia Pacific, and sponsored by FedEx. The ITC aims at nurturing the entrepreneurial spirit and business skills of students. During the event, students work to create international market entry strategy plans for a given product and target market.

JA SparktheDream
Social Challenge

The JA SparktheDream Social Challenge is the concluding part of the JA SparktheDream program, in partnership with FWD Insurance. Building on the final portion of the program, students are asked to refine their social innovation idea and create a short video, explaining which social issue they chose to address and why their idea is an effective solution.

Maziar Sabet Assumes Leadership of JA Asia Pacific

Starting today, Maziar Sabet assumes the position of President and CEO of JA Asia Pacific, which oversees JA operations in 18 locations. A seasoned executive, Maziar brings extensive management and global business development experience to JA Asia Pacific. He has an impressive track record of value creation in education and philanthropy. He lived in Singapore for seven years and has resided in Hong Kong since 2013.

Vivian Lau was honoured as the Soraya Salti Award at the 2019 JA Global Leadership Conference Gala Dinner in Berlin, Germany. The award was created in memory of Soraya Salti, the visionary leader who started INJAZ Al-Arab in the Middle East in 1999, and recognizes JA leaders who are committed visionaries and push the boundaries to move JA forward in a positive way, particularly to bring systematic change to a country or region.
